Bryn Melyn Care was delighted to receive the accolade of achieving top 50 status in Shropshire. The 2017 Edition of The Shropshire Growth Barometer that tracks the growth of the leading performers in the county, named the specialist residential childcare company in the top 50 fastest growing companies in Shropshire and the only one in its category ‘Care and Social Welfare’.
From the company’s Shropshire based head office, Bob Yetzes, Chief Executive Officer for Bryn Melyn Care said, “We were delighted to receive the letter of congratulations from accountancy firm, BDO, it came as quite a surprise. It is not an award for which we could apply, we know we have done the hard work and the results are recorded in our financial reports, so we are delighted to receive this unexpected recognition.”
Mr Yetzes goes on to say, “We attribute the continuing growth of our business in part, to our drive for innovation, in successfully identifying and meeting the needs of the sector and working closely with the communities in which we base our care homes. We are proud of our excellent reputation for delivering the outcomes desired for children and young people on their way to independent living or return to family homes.”
Mr Yetzes added, “We anticipate further solid growth during 2018 as the business continues to see the benefits of delivering a specialist service in therapeutic care and education for children and young people looked after, with the support of the many advantages the county offers.
Now in its 33rd year of providing placements for some of the country’s most vulnerable children, Bryn Melyn Care is proud of its strong links with communities in Shropshire through its residential children’s homes and specialist school. In addition, the Company offers extensive training opportunities to employees pursuing careers locally as care practitioners, clinicians, and teachers and in business support roles.
Mr Yetzes commented further, “It is a welcome boost to motivation and we recognise this achievement as further acknowledgement of the Company’s development. It is an indication of all the hard work and effort put in by the Bryn Melyn Care team in recent times and they deserve a self-congratulatory pat on the back. We look forward to seeing the full report published later in October.
